Belle Spread for frying

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Spread made with lower Oil

2 lb chicken winglets, or chicken drumlets

Honey Garlic Sauce

1 tbsp Belle Spread

1⁄2 cup soy sauce

5 tbsp honey

1 tbsp garlic, minced 1 tbsp ginger

1 tbsp brown sugar

1⁄2 cup flour(60 g)

1⁄2 teaspoon pepper

1⁄2 teaspoon salt

1 tsp sesame seed

Scallion

DIRECTIONS

Mix flour, garlic powder, pepper and salt in a small bowl.

Coat each chicken wing with a generous layer of the flour mixture.

Pour 1/4 inch (6mm) of Belle Spread into a shallow pan & bring it to a medium high heat. In small batches fry chicken wings for 4 mins on each side.

Remove from Belle Spread and let it rest on a paper towel.

Over medium-high heat, melt Belle Spread and add garlic and ginger.

Add soy sauce, honey & brown sugar to pan & reduce to 5-7 mins while stirring.

Add the fried wings directly into the sauce pan and stir until the wings are covered in the sauce, then sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Serve with scallions on top.
